Altos de Torona Barrica belongs to the O.D. Rias Baixas, specifically the subzone of O Rosal. It belongs to the Albariño variety and has an annual production of 1,500 bottles.
Crafted from selected Albariño grapes and fermented in 300 liter Burgundian barrels made from Fren oak in a 18 ºC air-conditiones room. Aged for 6 months in barrels with battonage every two days. Subsequently aged on its lees for a period of 6 months. Filtered and bottled. High layer birght yellow. Powerful and varietal scent, ripe fruit, sweet spices and mineral with a fine Frenc oak flavouring. Very balanced, tender, ample and enveloping. Tasty, fresh good acidity, with fat notes and a smoky wood aftertaste.
